About MPHS

MPHS entry doors Mt. Pleasant High School is located in the small, rural community of Mt. Pleasant in Maury County in southern middle Tennessee. As a result of desegregation, Hay Long High School and Clarke High School were combined to form Mt. Pleasant High School, serving grades 7-12. The first graduating class of Mt. Pleasant High School was the 1970-71 school year.

Mt. Pleasant High School began housing 9th through 12th grade students in 2001. MPHS currently has an enrollment of approximately 440 students.
