The faculty, staff, and administration at MPHS are dedicated to helping our students feel safe, meet and exceed their academic potential, and develop into healthy, contributing members of society. Along with our faculty and staff, we have a positive, encouraging group of business partners, alumni, and community members who want our students and school to succeed. With all of us working together, our students will have the tools and support to accomplish their postsecondary goals.

About MPHS
Mt. Pleasant High School is located in the small, rural community of Mt. Pleasant in Maury County in southern middle Tennessee. As a result of desegregation, Hay Long High School and Clarke High School were combined to form Mt. Pleasant High School, serving grades 7-12. The first graduating class of Mt. Pleasant High School was the 1970-71 school year.
Mt. Pleasant High School began housing 9th through 12th grade students in 2001. MPHS currently has an enrollment of approximately 440 students.
